All the photographs featured on this page are of 225 Layton Road, Blackpool where the owners had work carried to both Master/Box Bedrooms, and Cubby, prior to the property being rented out. After all the preparation work was completed, all three rooms were totally re-skimmed, turning them from the dull 1930's looking rooms to something of a much more fresher looking environment with nice straight lines and square edges.

A L Plastering started life in early 2003, trading under the name of R L Plastering at a time when I decided to make the break from being employed to the challenges of starting my own business and self employment. As with all new businesses at their birth things were slow, but managing to get myself involved Sub Contracting for Lancashire Double Glazing got things moving. Plastering, Rendering & Dashing Conservatory Dwarf and Back walls for the first 12 months or so not only kept me busy, but got me out and about with jobs all over the North West & Cumbria. In that time I was offered full time employment with L.D.G twice but declined the offers as I wanted to focus on building my own slowly increasing Customer base and repertoire around the Blackpool, Wyre & Fylde Coast areas.

All my work is carried out in coherence with the latest building regulations in mind and the forever changing Fire regulations when and where required i.e. properties such as Hotels, Flats etc.

I only use materials from the leading companies of Plaster systems such as British Gypsum and Knauf as I believe that better materials aid to a better finished product.

I built my business on the foundations of 3 basic elements.

Although not considered by most as your stereotypical hairy arsed Construction worker, I offer a Friendly, clean reliable service at a reasonable price where I take pride in my work, not only customer satisfaction in my work, but personal satisfaction is important to me.
